Practical Experience

1. Participation in the Development of a Microprocessor Based PABX system with 2-external and 8-internal lines, in a group of one engineer and two doctors from Cairo university, working For AMT company's division in Egypt (1984-1985).

2. The development of "Al FAGR" Arabic utility in cooperation with METRA company (1983-1987).

3. The development of some special device drivers in preparation for the Ph.D thesis experiments  (Amsterdam  University Sept. 1988-Jan-1989):-

A.   Screen driver for PGA card (an advanced computer graphics card from IBM).

B.   Tablet driver (summa graphics and Tektronix tablets).

C.   Plotter driver (Tektronix).

4. The development of the "Sherouk" Arabic system in cooperation with Rowad company (1988-1990).

5. The Arabisation of Latin programming languages: Dbase III and Quick BASIC 4 (1988-1990).

6. The Arabisation of some graphical software systems like: Autocad, Harvard Graphics, Quatro Pro, Banner Mania  (1990-1993).

7. The Design of a Tree Structured Arabic Data Base System implementing a company directory (1993-1994).

8. Managing the software department in Rowad company for 5 years (1991 to 1995).   (Part Time Job).

9. Participating in the decision making process in bids concerning the   World Bank in Egypt (1995).

10. Working as a consultant in the computer center of the Academy of   Arabic language to produce an Arabic  Dictionary for computers terms. (1996).

11. Working as a consultant in a team-Project for Arabic OCR supported by the King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology "KACST Project number AT-15-20", 1996-1998.

12. Working with the consultation teem of the computer science department that supervises the academic study in the Alameia Institute, from 1999-2004.
